The Columnar Transposition Cipher is a type of transposition cipher, also known as a row column transposition cipher.

How to Solve

When solving the Columnar Transposition Cipher, the player is given an encrypted message and a keyword. To decrypt the message, the player will need to take the key word, write it out, and letter each number it according to its alphabetic order (ex: blue = 1342). In the encrypted message given, the number of groups of letters represents how long the keyword is (ex: blue = 4 groups of scrambled letters) and the number of letters in each groups represents the number of columns. Take each group out of numerical and put it in order according to the way the keyword is spelled.
